P A N I C attacks aren’t planned; sometimes aren’t situational; and they sure as heck aren’t wanted!

Found myself in a physical panic today & had to get out quick with this learned/practiced method!

say out loud:

5 things you can SEE.

5 things you can TOUCH (touch them).

5 things you can SMELL.

5 things you can HEAR.

This process starts with the easiest sense to grasp- touching physical objects. Turns your sight off of the chaos. Gets you to breathe in what’s real. STOPS the noise madness. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

If you’re self-coping with anxiety you MUST know how to help yourself. If you’re living with someone who has panic attacks, take their hands, don’t say “Calm down!”. Instead, walk them through the steps.

Instead of “I CAN’T breathe! I CAN’T stop! I CAN’T calm down!” ... what CAN you do?

Lastly, release those emotions and let some plant juice help you. I’ve been known to stick my nose over the spout of some citrus fresh spewing out! Frankincense and Rose are high frequency, and they’ll do the fighting work to bring down my anxiety too!

What helps you? If it’s “nothing”, take a hint from people that have found relief. 😘
